Best way to turn a wordpress blog into a storefront?

I sell vitamins and supplements. I love using wordpress. Can someone offer some ideas on how best to list my products and a cart option?

    hi cchipster,
    you can do a search for "e-commerce plugin" int he wordpress plugin section.
    you will also have to look for e-commerce compliant wordpress themes.

    also keep in mind that you will have to make the home page as a static page to display your products. to make the home page as static page you will have to do follow the simple steps mentioned below

    1. login to wordpress admin section.
    2. create a new page.
    3. now settings->Reading
    4. in this page select "A Static Page" option and from the dropdown select the page you want to display as the home page.
    you are done.

    you will be able to display your products in the homepage without any problem.

    You can try PHPurchase . But there are lot of plugins available. You can also use standard shopping carts like oscommerce, zen cart etc.
