Looking for private label cms solution w/ support. WP-based?

I do some consulting in a healthcare niche. Some of my clients have horrible websites, but are "DIYers", and they don't want to give up control to a professional web designer.

I frequently bring up WP as an option, but they need a ton of hand-holding to do it themselves, and I have no interest in becoming a FT WP support person.

I've been playing with the idea of setting them up with a WP theme (perhaps Thesis) and then providing 10-20 custom page layouts they could choose at anytime (designed for the niche) and a bunch of graphics. They could manage the content through WP's White Label CMS plugin.

But this would still make me in charge of support, which could quickly get out of control.

Is there a service out there that would let me do something similar, completely private labeled? - Meaning I don't have to do anything but provide the layouts and graphics?

I've seen a lot of private label CMS services, but I need to be able to provide custom layouts.

    I can completely understand where you are coming from. I've managed companies for a few corporate websites that wanted as close to full control as they could yet the comfortability of a CMS so the average employee could handle updating/maintaining the site.

    We actually used WordPress with some custom coding on the admin side to create new post types, such as offices, employee profiles, etc. WordPress is extremely flexible with this and there are even a few plugins which can help you achieve this.

    I was actually surprised by how little support I needed to provide to the employees after some initial training. I would highly recommend further considering WordPess. It's hard to find another CMS that can compete with the amount of plugins and support that is available for it.
