What design improvements you'll suggest for my site

My site is One cent at a time - Spend, Invest And Earn Smartly[/url], please suggest the improvement opportunities, also banner is grossly wrong, what other banner you'll suggest?

  • Hey, it looks nice, the header image you are using is smaller than the header itself, you should use a bigger image.

    Lots of written content, which is good. But....the font is a little small. People don't like to squint to read it.

    Might try using a post title with a short description and the 'read more' link so the visitors can scan your headlines quicker and then decide to click on the post to read more.

      One Cent At A Time

      That's an odd size for a header - be sure to change the way the Banner is displayed by changing the viewed dimensions. Just because a banner is a certain size does't mean you can't change the way it's displayed.

      My example image is coming from another url as 336x280. Since my theme will only accept a 300x250 I changed the display code.

      I also use a program called ViewPrint when I need to resize an image.

  • I would suggest making the margin-left a little larger, the text seems a little close to the white edge

    • Done, all the suggestion incorporated, except for the left margin increase...couldn't figure out yet
  • I think the site is fine, maybe make the backgound black? I think it would draw more attention to your content.
    To make it easier to read, you should make the font slightly larger. Make it as you had the 1-50 list.

    • Good suggestion, didn't make it completely black, but a brighter dark. I see that now content is more focused.
  • I agree with EugeneA, maybe the background should be black. Also, the font should be slightly larger. But otherwise a really nice site! Good Job!
