First of all - I'm technically challenged - still - so be nice!

Hi - I want to provide people who opt-in (or purchase) access to a download link for a Product most likely in pdf format.

But I don't want those who neither opted-in - or paid (depending) to have access to the download link.

If I just set up a simple html page on a website that includes access to the pdf file or zip file - I'm not protected - right???

Assuming the main site uses Wordpress, I was planning on putting the download links in their own locations by adding html pages through FTP

for example: www.MYDOMAINNAME.com/amazingreatreportlinkishere. html

How can I protect that download link?

Or is there a better way to deliver product?
