Plugin To Delete Spam Comments On News Site

Hi,

I have close to 3500 comments (SPAM) on my news site
and i cannot start deleting them one after the other, is
there any plugin to automatically delete all of em?

    "Bulk Comment Remove" is your friend, WordPress › Bulk Comment Remove « WordPress Plugins

    Simply install, click delete all pending comments, wait a second and it's done. For the future akismet is indeed a good idea.

    Askimet +million. I use askimet and "never" get spam. And if I do get spam it's really relevant

    Try wp optmize , it has the ability to delete unapproved comments and optimize your database tables as well as delete post revisions.

    I know this is late but for anybody else with this problem, adding the plugin SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam with help stop a lot of the automated spam bots. It adds a captcha to your comment form.

    I actually haven't had the best luck with Akismet. Maybe I am not configuring it correctly but I used to get a ton of spam comments even with it installed and registered.
