Problems with WordPress and vBulletin?

I have a website with vb forum installed, I've installed WordPress a few days ago on example.com/wordpress, I then modified Site URL and WordPress URL in General section in the dashboard of WordPress. So when users visit example.com, they are redirected to example.com/wordpress, while the forum is on /vb. However, users are reporting issues regarding some specific forum post. When they visit those forum posts they get a WordPress 404 error page.
I've searched databases for misconfigured values but found nothing wrong.
