Dreamweaver Issue

Hi guys

I've been having a problem with Dreamweaver 8 for the past few weeks.

I open up Dreamweaver and click Open to open an existing webpage, but eight times out of ten it freezes and then closes.

I installed the latest patch and that worked for a few hours but now the problem persists.

Has anyone got any ideas what might be wrong?

  • If the page you are opening have a few external links / images it will freeze for a some secs sometimes.
  • It doesn't matter whether the page has external links or not, it seems to always crash.

    Thanks for your help though

  • You need to find the source of the problem, whether it is the problem cause by the pages you're opening or the program itself, so try to open/edit other page to see if the problem exist, if not then maybe there's something wrong with your dreamweaver or your os.
