Can Anyone Recommend a Wordpress WYSIWYG Plugin or Something to Help Me with the HTML?

Hello,

I've noticed that the worpdress html editor is very very basic unless I am missing something. I can't see anywhere on there where I can change the font type, change the color, or make the font bigger. Is it hiding or do I need a special plugin that will help me out? Thanks

I like to create my posts in a HTML editor such as kompozer or dreamweaver and then just copy and paste into my HTML editor on wordpress

I would look into ithemes. Their themes rock, and in particular they have one called Builder which lets you do just about anything you could think of.

For anything like that, I first make an entry in the stylesheet, then I just use the <span class="****"> to define it in the posts. Once set up in the stylesheet, it can called be called repeatedly.

In fact, I keep a text file with a whole bunch of things which I paste straight into a new blog's stylesheet.

UMS stole the answer: TinyMCE Advanced will give you all you need to change the font type, etc. Lots of additional tools with that plugin.

TinyMCE Advance is a good choice - you can edit the cpanel.

Actually, it is too much... if you REALLY know how :p

(Funny story: I used to make custom WP sites for clients BEFORE the damned wysiwyg thing has been introduced and for special features I used to add custom buttons in the editor - it was easy if you knew how to do it.

Then the monster was introduced and for about a year I didn't tell any of my clients about its existence... it would have confused them, so they were better off without it! )
