aweber in wordpress

I have installed the aweber widget in my wordpress but when i drag it into the sidebars,it will replace all my side bars and it does not have the categories and links side bar anymore.

    Those are probably default things showing based on the theme you are using.

    Just go into the widgets and manually add them back into the sidebar.

    No doubt you will get the sidebar sorted out, just wanted to add, there's a guy with a professional looking slide in opt-in footer he is giving away, I got it, looks like a real product, has artwork and color options. It's used on his site: danielwatrous.com

    Jill is right. Those side bar widgets are only there as a default so you're wordpress site looks somewhat complete and ready to go even if you do not modify or add any widgets. They will all disappear as soon as you replace them with even one widget. To get them all back you will need to add them manually by dragging them across in your widget's section.
