About a month ago, the kitchen sink on most of my Wordpress websites disappeared. I researched the issue and found recommendations like turning on the visual editor in the Users section of the admin area, deactivating/reactivating installed plugins, changing themes, etc. I tried them but it didn't solve the problem.
I thought it was only temporary... :(

So I decided to wait thinking maybe the issue was just a bug or something and that it would get fixed with the next WP update.
I was wrong. As of this writing, I still can't access the kitchen sink on my Wordpress dashboard and I'm starting to go nuts about it.
Can anyone please help me out of this? How do I get back the kitchen sink/visual editor?
