Need Joomla and CSS help with a client website..

I need a cleanup on isle 9. I've got CSS issues with a client's website. It started out easy until we made changes. Now the site design is not working in IE and Firefox. It looks better on my local server but is not working on the site. Please help me. Help me.

    I know this isn't the answer you're looking for, but I strongly recommend you and your client browse some of the thousands of Joomla templates available and use the one closest to your needs. Unless you're pretty familiar with PHP, CSS, and Joomla template structure this is by far the best solution.

    i still dont understand why anyone would use joomla, its junk really,
    wordpress will do it all and then some with thousands of modules, joomla is just way to buggy.

    Do you have a copy of the original template before modifications were made? If so you could reload it and gradually apply the changes you have made, testing it with every browser after each change. Eventually one of your changes will "break" it, once you determine which change it is you can take the steps to resolve it.

    For the record I use both Joomla and WordPress, they are two different tools and each has it's merits and weaknesses. I do not agree with the statement that Joomla is "junk" or "buggy", both the 1.0 and 1.5 versions of Joomla have evolved into stable platforms with impressive features.
