This is my webpage:
Licorne AIO | Licorne Solutions

I would like reviews for the webpage. Please ignore the video and broken links as I have not have time to complete them yet. Here are the following questions I would like answered if you are reviewing my webpage.

1. Does it look appealing to you?
2. Can you understand what it is about?
3. How can I improve things?
  • Organization?
  • Layout Wise?
  • Content (Pictures? Text?)
  • Anything else...
Please provide me as critical a review as possible. I accept simple criticisms however, please, if possible also suggest improvements. For example, you do not simply say that the color isn't good. It will be more helpful if you tell me what you think would be a better color to use if possible.

Thank you, kind warriors

It looks professional though I would suggest moving the side menu from the right to the left side also try to move up the video and I would try to change the beta download or at least try to keep it on one line the "beta" looks like it's flying. I got the idea why you created it so but it doesn't look too goo.
    Hope this helps

#2 is absolutely the right question to ask - I wish more people would consider it. In order to achieve it, I suggest making the front page fit on the screen without scrolling - that way, people can get a quick overview of what it is you are offering.

You don't need everything on one page, things like the requirements and contact box absolutely do not need to be on the front page. The front page should really only be two things - what your product is and how to find out more. I would just have two boxes, one for your software and one for your services, plus navigation to find out more.

      Hey thanks for the comments.

Moving the side menu from the left to right does nothing in a logical sense though... Maybe there are more people who prefer things on the left and you are one of them. I will do a survey and consider this.

You're totally right about the button and the video though. I changed them and they looked much better. Thanks alot!!

If you have actually noticed and not barely glimpse through my webpage, you would have realized that I do not only have a single software! Just look at the sidebar and you can see that I am offering many kinds of software which was also why there was a reason to display each specific software's requirement in its page. Also, it isn't a contact box, it is a comment box. Thanks anyway.

Overall -- very nice. The tone on tone was a little light for my aging eyes but I realize that is the trend right now.

My suggestion is to remove the sidebar from the pages that have a call to action (like downloading the beta). Giving people less options to click something else is a good objective. You could add some of that navigation functionality to the footer.

Your design is good. But color is not looking very good to me. I think you can play with more color like black or green.

It looks nice, it could use some color. I couldn't tell immediately what the site was about

Your design is good. Adding more colors will be better.

What are the areas lacking color? What do you suggest I improve? The headers? The titles? The fonts?...

    Hey lovenot,

you do have a professional-looking and fully functional website (I clicked around the website and didn't notice an error or slow pages loading speed.)

I agree with everybody above that the tone on tone choice for the website can be both hard to read on a long term basis (is your website oriented towards content? are you going to have regular blog posts there?) and confusing (eyes are attracted to the center of the page, where there is even more light but no special call-to-action.)

I would suggest having two shades of grey and the darker shade would be the solid block around the content of the page while the lighter shade would be the background of the website. Do you see what I mean? If not, I'll rephrase, please do let me know.

When it comes to your questions, here is what I think:

    1. Does it look appealing to you?
Yes - my only comment would be for the color, you can see above for the full review.

    2. Can you understand what it is about?
Not at first sight. I understand that it's about a software, due to the icon and then when my eyes go on the half of the page, on the right, that's when I see "SEO" pop out the most. I suggest that you move this second navigation menu to the top so the word "SEO" will be put forward and the nature of your services will be visible within the first few seconds the website visitor lands on the page.

    3. How can I improve things?
My last suggestion would be about adding a script to the navigation menus on the sidebar. Right now, there are "triangles" that one has to click to discover the sub-menu. The problem with this is that the visitor who doesn't use internet often might just assume it's an icon, a graphic to illustrate the website, and not go ahead and click. If he/she didn't click, he/she would miss tons of information, unless he digs under "Solutions" two sub-menus at the top of the pages. If these are crucial content pages - they should be less difficult to find - but then again you are the boss of your website and I don't know what you plan on doing with it

All in all you have a great website here, lovenot!

Slight colors changes and playing around the sidebar's navigation menus to maximize your important content would be the advices I would give.

I wish you best of luck with this project and will be checking this thread.

    - Patty

    My honest opinion is :
    1. The page looks really appealing and serious.
    2. I do not really understand what the product is about.
    3. Try to explain the product a little bit more.

What kind of information would you like from a software?

I think it looks very formal, which is a good thing if you're approaching that kind of market. However, the colours are a little dull if you're not. The layout makes the site look like you've taken a nice template and executed your implementation of your content in a rush. I would recommend raising the vertical parameters of your splash page higher to fit more content.

Just my two cents. In comparison to some of the other sites I've seen on WF, yours looks f*cking amazing.
