How to build a site with an auction/bid system?

Hello all,

Right now my plan of attack is emailing multiple businesses in the same niche and selling a domain to them and just sending out a PayPal invoice for whoever communicates via me through email.

But I'm thinking I could save myself a lot of time and effort if I just directed them to my site with an auction-styled listing and they all bid on it and highest wins, then I would just contact that person therefore I only have to answer questions.

Is this possible on wordpress or something? I don't have much to invest in something right now so if it does I'll just grind it out through email until I sell one or two. Thanks.

    If you are planning to sell domains, you can simply post them on Sedo.

    However, if you have specific clients to deal with, you can start a site. Yes, it is possible with Wordpress to start a bidding site. You will need to install "Wordpress Auction Plugin" and configure it as per your requirements.

    Where do you get the domains? Do you buy them? Are you building websites on them?

    This is something that I would like to understand.
