All i want to do is load some simple html, to my server.
I use Bluehost and am so spoiled by their simple script installations
that I have no Idea how to get about 12 lines of code loaded.

I never have used an Editor because I always change the codes in WP after its installed....All I want to do is this....

I am going to launch a PPC and use a <iframe> as my landing page

  • Code is written
  • Domain is Purchased and Hosted
  • I can do the FTP

BUT......

How do i save the Script that I wrote( .php / html?)...it includes some Java..and where do I load it to on my Server?
  • Will there be a CP panel like Wordpress....
  • Do i just go into my FTP Center and Write the code there as a file under the public file?

jeez...... I am pretty sure this is an easy task but for some reason cant get my mind around it.

thanks
sean

Not sure if I completely understand the question. If you're asking where to FTP the file to most hosts have a "public_html" folder that is mapped to the root of your domain. If you name your file "index.php" or "index.html" and place it there it will automatically load when the site is accessed.

Hope that's what you're looking for, please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

I think that is what i am asking.....lol

I am assuming it would have to be .php So I load it as an Index.php
(or any name) ......then when i type in
www . MySite . Com it will show up? Right?
so long as I have the code right?...is it really that easy?

And if that is the case to make changes would be as simple as changing the code and over writing the file ...correct?

      Thanks! I really appreciate it
