I've got an established blog, and I know the basics are down. What are your nitpicks?

My blog has been around for over a year now, and it's doing pretty well. I've got the basics down - the design, main SEO, all that... So now I need to look to the small things and figure out what marginal improvements I can make!

So, what do you guys think of my blog, College Info Geek? What changes would you make if it were yours?

    Thomas,

I think you're coming around to brag Great blog, man! I wouldn't change a thing...maybe the way you're utilizing real estate above the fold. Other than that, it looks good and you clearly have good traffic coming to your site. Do you have specific questions?

I like the layout because its REALLY simple and your readers would have no problem finding content. To nit-pick I'd say you now need to focus on monitization and then BACK-LINKS, BACK-LINKS, BACK-LINKS. For a blog thats over a year old you should at least have some page-rank by now so back-links should be at the very top of your todo list.

    Good Luck!

EDIT: SORRY DUDE MY MISTAKE. For some reason it showed no page-rank info the first time. The second time I saw you had 4/10. LOL My bad...

You probably looked up the WWW version of my site the first time - I think you only see the pagerank if you omit that part. I've got my HTACCESS configured to redirect to the non-WWW address no matter what, so it works out.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I'm really thinking hard about how to make my opt-in boxes more appealing now.

You have a great blog.. Hands down. But it's quite heavy because of the graphics. Nice graphics, don't get me wrong. Maybe it's the background image.

Nice website, nice customizations to a paid theme.

Here are some some things, but really I'm nitpicking here:

    1) move the sidebar optin box top the top of the sidebar, above the fold.
    2) use letter-spacing:-1px; on the post titles. There's too much spacing in-between the letters for my liking.
    3) Make the "Read More" button text a bit darker to catch the reader's eye.

    Apart from that, good job.
