Facebook fonts messed up in IE8
I've been working on trying to fix this for a few weeks but no luck.
I think it happened when I imported a heap of fonts from a graphics pack but my Facebook fonts are all squashed and crunchy, almost impossible to read and definitely impossible to enjoy.
I have attached a pic. I have tried replacing the font that Facebook uses (Lucida Grande) but it did not overwrite any existing fonts. I've tried resetting all settings back to default in both the "View --> encoding" and "options --> general tab --> Fonts" and I can choose my own font for all sites if I like (which does fix the issue) but then I miss out on experiencing the different designs and fonts that webmaster prefer you to see their site in.
This happens only in IE8. Has anyone else had this issue and found a solution? I have removed IE8 and re-installed it but the issue still remains. I was thinking of removing all fonts from the fonts folder (bar one) and re-importing them but not sure of the effects of that so I paused until I got some opinions from you guys.
Google search brings up a few face book font issues but none that deal with my style of corruption. Any tips appreciated - even the obvious ones.
Edit, I should add that every facebook email is also like this and it sometimes also appears in other websites I visit so I'm pretty sure it's a corrupted font or something similar.
