I have a product link in html, i paste it to website & is still html

I have a wp website. I am trying to make a new page with a product link that has text and images. I copied it from the affiliate and paste it on my page and is is still html. It should be simple but I can't figure it.
If i haven't explained it well enough then post me a Q.

    In WordPress you have the option of posting using the visual or html editor:

    Have you tried posting the code in the HTML part and seeing if that makes any difference?

      yes i tried that yesterday. I posted it in the Html and published then viewed and still html.
      it should be simple.

    Type the text you want (name of product) or (click here) then click on the link icon a box will open up with a place for you to paste or type in the link then click insert that's it.

    With an image download it to your desktop then in your post click on insert image icon you will see a box pop up saying brows click that find the image click on it then click upload
    when done click insert now once it is there click on it then click on link icon and type or paste link and click insert then you are done.

    When you want to insert a link the easiest thing to do is click the button on the formatting toolbar above the post box that has the icon that looks like a chain link. When you click that button it allows you to insert links.

    If you are in visual mode, just highlight text you want to make a link, click the link icon and then insert the address into the box that pops up.

    That should do it.

        Thing is,it is a lot of html code and text and image code all in one long page of html code.
        I cant put it in the image insert or the text only section. I am very confused.

    Hello everyone I figured it out. I don't know why I forget stuff like that but at almost 60 I am hoping its not serious. Lol well I hope this teaches me a lesson. and if you come across me again just dont pay any attention to me. just say, oh she knows, she just forgets that she knows.
