1. Thank you for asking it. No, no promotion of any kind in posts/threads.
You are already promoting it your sig, which is visible anytime you give valuable, reliable, expert advice. If any... It could be a good opportunity to test your marketing "skills": make that one line in the sig the most appealing, test it, tweak, make it irresistible.

2. Didn't you see how many self-appointed <your favourite slur here> posted in the thread? And these were the best ones, about the same amount got deleted.

Let me put it in this way: it is not recommended, although it may be evaluated on a case by case basis. Try no to do it, as a general rule of thumb.

I often see very poorly constructed English from people who obviously it is not their first language.
Sure it's nice to have an international input and 99% of it is fine, but when it gets to the point of it being completely unreadable, I'd just like to advise that perhaps such people should take a little bit more time to consider what they wrote, so we can all gain benefit and insight, and not waste time reading nonsense.

Hey. I run a design site and do video tutorials on Youtube.

I would love to share these videos with the Warrior community but obviously dont want to risk a ban or anything. My channel has over 7,000 subscribers and I get thousands of views on my videos so its no big if I cannot post them here on Warrior but was curious since obviously more traffic is better for me so let me know please? They are not articles or I would understand posting in the articles section they are videos.

People frequently ask us to review their sales pages and to help with programming and design issues. That's about it. It depends on your purpose for asking them to give their opinions.

Hi Istvan,

I am seeing lot Review My Blog , Review My Website, Review My Design like threads, in this sub forum, what is official stand on it, as it will not be great to see wo many REVIEW my threads instead of asking direct questions which can help everybody.

Maybe there is some other subforum where members can be redirected to post review like thread instead of in this forum, which is dedicated to asking specific questions related to Web design.

Unfortunately, there is no separate place for "reviews"...

Once I tried to go against them, posting this.

P.S. If it was me, I'd get rid of all the "review requests" - 99% of them are fake and fishing for visitors/backlink.

Why not outline some rules about replies to those threads? Don't allow the completely useless "looks good" or "nice site" comments and delete them when seen? I've reported similar useless posts in the main section and had them go *poof*, so why not here?

Maybe we need to teach people how to post to a forum. Obviously a lot of people don't understand. Its newbie syndrome I don't think everybody is trying to game the system just some.
