I realized that the three Wordpress posts that I made should have been Wordpress pages so I set up the three pages with the info that was in the posts and then deleted the posts.
Now when I access my site my page is intact but the three article are not there. It just says "Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn't here."
I did notice that my three pages have not been approved. Is there a waiting period?

    What do you mean they're not approved? Not published maybe? If the Wordpress install is your own, then there is no waiting period. You control it.

    put the texts again in the pages and publish them.
  • Tried a do over and it does not work. I purchased the theme and just sent them an inquiry.

  • Did you move your old posts to the trash AND delete them permanently? If you're trying to create new content that has the same name as deleted content, you can encounter issues. You need to go into the trash, select your old posts, and delete them permanently.

    I still make the "post that should have been a page" mistake sometimes. Here's my step-by-step fix:

    1) View the old post in the WordPress HTML editor
    2) Copy and paste all text into a text editor (like Notepad++)
    3) Move the post to the trash
    4) Go to the dashboard section where you view all posts and click Trash
    5) Mouse over the item you just deleted and click Delete Permanently
    6) Copy and paste the HTML into a new page and save
