Not sure if this is the right sub-forum, but...

...I got IT Sales Questions | Training for IT VAR salespeople a couple of months ago after some Google keyword searching.

56 million searches for "IT sales"

and 74,000 monthly searches for "IT sales questions".

I offer sales training specific to IT Value-Added Resellers and thought this would be a great stream of searches to get into.

Within a couple of days I was on page 2 of Google for these terms, and after a week or so was at the top of page 1. I'm at the top of Page 1 now.

Here's the problem: no traffic.

Does anybody have any idea why, with this many searches, nobody's clicking through? The content is super-relevant to people in IT Sales.

Again, if this is the wrong place to post this, please let me know where it should go and I'll take it there.

Thanks!

  • Thanks Kyle, that's a real eye-opener. I had no idea it skewed that way (now that you've pointed it out, I've read up on it and will use the scroogle app).

  • You need some serious SEO help. You rank on page 1, but it is at #9 position. On top of that your description is just one line and doesn't sound attractive. You got to create a website which users find trustworthy. Why is the date in the search excerpt?
