I've created an online PC game key shop earlier this week (after running a successful one earlier this year which I sold for a good amount of money but regret selling) and I was wondering if I could have some feedbacks here for the overall design, prices, etc.

Here's the link: Fast CD Keys

Thanks

    • I'm guessing someone looking for CD Keys knows what they are. They look like copies of games. Are they? Or the actual original manufactured games?

      What is Knowledgebase?

I suggest filling in the "About us" information. And changing "english" to "English."

Otherwise your site looks fine and easy to navigate.

Buying it from a key shop like mine compared to buying it from a local store is wayy cheaper. Especially in Australia where games are like $100 on release, my shop provides them a huge discount. Keys are acquired from countries like Russia where they sell games for cheaper price. And knowledgebase is for tutorials on doing certain stuff, etc (You can see I added in some content there) & just filled in the About Us section as well. What do you think?

I do have a few suggestions about the design I hope will help.

Home Page from the top down

    Top navigation:

    - You need to use css text-transform to capitalize the first letter of your links
    - Remove the sitemap link this is located in your footer
    - Since you are using a link to bookmark you may want to call attention to it by using a different/brighter color.
    - You may want to consider aligning the menu left instead of center

    Header Section:

    - Consider a logo redesign - the logo should portray what the site is about. The current one makes me think of postal mail because of the paper airplane.
-The search bar is in an awkward position I would either align it with the top navigation bar or remove the search button in your main nav bar and place the search bar there.
    - by moving the search bar you will open up a premium spot for advertisers
    Main Navigation:

    - Try adding some padding to the top of you ul. The menu items appear to close to the top edge and should be vertically centered.
    - Don't forget to add a google+ button
    - Your social media buttons appear pretty flat against the rest of the theme. Try using some with a little more dimention
    - You may want to use a graidiant background for the bar as it will provide a more customized feel rather than just another cookie cutter theme.
    - The slider is very nice and not to large. Some of the images appear as though they are being scaled up and resulting in pixelization try to be careful of this with new images

    Sidebar:

    - The newsletter section is all centered and does not provide an incentive to register. try making the subscribe drop down the same width as the emailbox then float the ok button to the right. Above the email box provide customers a reason to subscribe even just asking is sufficient.

    - You may want to consider adding a section with customer testimonials or/and a featured game/video
    - move your live support item to the left of your shopping cart and remove it from the sidebar.

    Coming Soon Gallery:

    - This looks good I would ad a horizontal line to the bottom to give the page a little separation.

    Featured products gallery:

    - There is to much margin between this and your coming soon section shrink it up about 40%

    - When the customer clicks on the game cover it brings them to the same page as the view button. Remove the view button it is making this section look congested.
    - add a little most margin between the tops and bottoms of your rows about 15px should work fine.

    Footer:

    - Don't forget to place a privacy policy
    - Your footer area renders differently in different browsers and different resolutions. eg. the background does not span when i shrink my chrome browser.

    Product Info Page:

    - It seems the images you have selected for your categories (located in the top right) do not load for any of the selected categories.

    - format the descriptions a little more they look like big blocks of text which is not easy on the eyes.

    - You may want to get a youtube channel and offer game trailers on your site as well (this will also help drive traffic to your site)
    - maybe include an enlarge option for the images and include a front and back cover

    - be sure to add system requirements for the games

    - Overall the product info page looks great

Your home page has 113 invalid coding errors and you do not declare a doctype

    Customize your 404 page

Other than these suggestions the site is very easy to navigate and makes sense. You utilize a good color combination and everything is easily readable.

I would focus on making sure you use compatible cross browser code.

Great job and good business idea!

    Hope this helps.
