I'm using the WP Gazette theme and have two questions that perhaps somebody here can answer off the top of their head.

Every time I make a new post it shows up as a seperate pane on the homepage, this is going to create one loooonnnggg page. How can I make it so that it shows just the latest post from each category?

The category bar at the top of the page is arranged alphabetically. Is there a way to manually set the order?
