is there an FTP that uploads multiple files at the same time ? or a faster ftp than filezilla that isnt paid for /Proprietary ?

    Filezilla should be able to do this just fine.

    Maybe you need to adjust how many current uploads Filezilla can do.

    To do that you would go to "Edit->Settings->Transfers"

    Under where it says "Concurrent transfers" you could change the value of "Maximum simultaneous transfers" from the default of 2 to a higher number.

    Also, if you're experiencing slow transfers that might be because your host has limited their FTP transfer rate.

    You might try the FireFTP plugin for Firefox. Speed can be increased by getting a faster service from your ISP.
