The site looks good except I don't like the black and white boxes with the stop thinking start doing in them. They seemed to make me want to stop reading down the page.

I also was annoyed by the exit pop ups.

Eek, I hate pages that try to stop you leaving, it is just rude.

When I looked at this page, my first thought was 'what is the catch'. You are giving away something, for free, but wait, you want my email address. Clearly you want it for a reason... but you dont say what, so no way I would give you it.

Hi,

That's a toughie cause you say it as it is, cover the key points and spell it out straight and clear. On that basis I like it.

You maybe could add that they are 300 word articles or whatever, you could maybe incentivise by putting a date maybe two days in the future and say this offer won't be around for long so don't hang around.

The only other suggestion for increasing the optins is to make sure you are getting your message in front of the right audience, i.e. newbies.

If you wanted to throw some money at it you could list it as a free wso but it would need to be unique content created by you for that but that might be a bit expensive, depending on your funnel as I don't know whats on the other side.

Other than that I think if I was starting out today I guess I might have been tempted. No reason why not

In terms of explaining why you want my email address, you need to state something like "you are subscribing to my list and I will occasionally send you news, tips and special offers".

Not sure about "gain sanity"; I'd go with "I regain my sanity".
