Hi Warriors, I'm having a bit of trouble in Dreamweaver, I cant view my template in design view, just wondering if anybody else has had this problem and if anyone knows how to fix this?

I have made a video showing the problem.
I'm using CS4.

Do you have too many </divs>?

Design mode is never perfect for me and I prefer to check it out it a browser.

I'm not sure, I don't know why that yellow </div> is showing up it was all working great yesterday. Not sure if I have changed any settings.

I have deleted the yellow div you can see in the video but not much difference.

If you're using CSS, chances are what you see in design view wont be a true reflection of what your site actually looks like.

Best way to test is to troubleshoot/isolate.

Build a simple page with a single coloured table and see how that looks. If it looks fine, then its related to your code.

Most likely the divs as already said.

Thanks for the reply, no there is no CSS, not sure whats going on, it was O.K. the other day in design view with the exact same template no change in the code.

Anyway I have found a solution, I pasted the code into kompozer then copied from there and pasted it into Dreamweaver and the design view is O.K. now!

Dreamweaver does behave like this at times.

Best thing to do if it does, is close the app, restart your computer and try it again.

Wait till you get the dreaded "OK" error, where it shuts everything down before you can save
