Can someone help me build my website? (for $50-$100?)
Hey guys I don't have a lot of money and I do have the time right now to work on my site but the problem is I just don't know what I am doing.
I don't like the way the name looks I was trying to get a shiny type of effect I'm thinking it may have looked better just leaving it on the F (and not the N) I don't really know. Or maybe it would look better on the I where the dot is. And the "mail marketing" I'm probably going to replace with a company saying I don't like that either it looks unprofessional. What I do like is the dominant colors orange/gray.
This is a website for selling ads via regular mail and I will be doing all my work offline so do not care about how the site ranks or any of that bs. I have finished websites before that look pretty nice the issue is it generally takes me months and tons and tons of hours just to get a semi-decent/small site up.
Like with this one I was 100% sure I'd be able to do it untill I got to that stupid little orange vertical dash all the way to the right. And so far I have wasted roughly 7 hours YES 7 hours trying to figure out where the hell its coming from this is DRIVING ME INSANE. I'd just rather pay someone $50 (possibly more but I can't afford more than $100) if they can just finish my index page and get everything looking nice. I don't even need multiple pages if someone can just get this index page done for me I can do the other couple pages myself.
I can supply pictures of my product which I want to use to replace most the stock photos that came with the template. Likely 1 picture of a sample ad of mine on the left then 1 in the middle I'm going to do a bar graph I'm working on right now in excel and I'd like to get a 3rd pic up too but I'm still thinking about what I will use for the last one.
As far as the lay out I just want basic stuff really. For the orange bar on top I wanted to do a gradient type of effect so it looks round and has some depth. Like for "HOME" I was thinking a black to orange to black gradient. With orange in the middle slowly getting darker as it moves away from center. I did this on one of my older sites and liked the way it looked. But again if anyone has better ideas I'm open ears.
For the text area the white looks kinda of plain was thinking I can do some gradient work with that too but honestly I just want the site to look nice thats all. The only function it needs to perform are 2 things:
1) Look professional enough to put on my business card.
2) Have a form so people can contact me.
Like I said theres absolutely no need for SEO or any of that stuff.

Like I said I'm not loaded but I WILL PAY if someone can just doctor up this index page for me and make it look professional. And I obviously don't plan on getting any finished product back untill I've paid for it. But I would definitely like to see what it looks like before dishing out the cash.
So you have an idea of who you're dealing with I'm not a nitpicking type of person. It will be more than likely that whoever takes on this job has much better ideas than I do and like I said I'm open ears. I just can not waste another minute trying to get rid of that stupid orange bar (and really if someone can explain to me where its coming from you'd make me VERY happy) I have moved things around, moved them back, checked the images in photoshop and DO NOT see that orange bar. But of course its there everytime I open it in expression.
