has anyone purchased this review theme?

Best Wordpress Review Theme | ProReviewTheme.com

I am thinking of buying it but I want to know what you think of it and if there are any better themes out there.

    I also like the look of the theme. I might add though that (just from an IM perspective) it looks like "any other" random review theme/site, it does not have any special touch to it.

    Probaly won't affect the average visitor who doesn't have a clue about IM and creating sites, though...

      I think it may create a footprint which Google recognizes. Early in 2011 I switched several of my Amazon review sites to use it. At the time, 4 of those sites were appearing on page one of Google and 2 on page 2.

      Within a few weeks all those sites plummeted in the serps and so did my earnings.

      One by one I returned them to their original themes, but it took a while for them to climb back to their original search engine positions.

      My take on it would be: build your Amazon reviews on themes not being used by the masses. I believe this particular review theme is promoted by Jan Roos in his WSOs, hence everyone is using it.

      Also, just before Christmas I was searching for a review on a particular product, and of the first page of results, 6 reviews used this theme. How do you think the public in general view this?

        I don't think it leaves any more of a footprint than any other theme does. How would it? That just seems a little ridiculous and a little paranoid. I have never seen a website theme affect rankings either, there must have been something else at play too.

        Sure lots of people are using it now but it's all in how you use it. Don't just throw a site together with crap content, crappy designs and a ton of affiliate links all over the site. Add good quality reviews, videos, images, etc to actually (surprise, surprise) help the visitor.

        To answer the OP's question I use the theme and it works great. I see between a 50-75% click through rate with it which is great and am making more and more every month with Amazon. But like I said above, put up content that will actually help the visitor.

        Also don't just fill the site with reviews and affiliate links. Put up informational articles too. This is where this theme comes in really handy is it separates the reviews from the articles.

        Overall I love the theme and it makes the site look so good. As the other person mentioned 6 people on the first page of Google having the same theme, Just build out your site and get it ranking to the #1 spot, then it doesn't matter what others are using because most of the traffic will come to your site first and that's where you grab them and convert them anyways.

          The OP asked for peoples' thoughts on the theme and this is what I provided. When I switched to using it, that was all I did, nothing more; the content of the review sites remained exactly the same. One site which appeared to suffer was one of my oldest, containing 6 very detailed reviews, backed up at the time with 50+ related articles, all of which i had written myself. No PLR or farmed out content at all. It had been consistently earning me $500+ a week.

    It looks nice, but I'd be tempted to pop over to Premium WordPress Themes, Web Templates, Mobile Themes | ThemeForest (non affiliate link) to look at what's available on there.
