How do I change product page url's for better seo? For Example: My product page urls look like http: //www.qpricing.com/ p~p-2624488372~b-462~HP-Pavilion-dv6-6140us-Entertainment-156-Notebook-PC---Steel-Gray.aspx
Can this be changed to http: //www.qpricing.com/ HP-Pavilion-dv6-6140us-Entertainment-156-Notebook-PC---Steel-Gray.aspx

Or is the first url OK for SEO?

    1. The way you have it now should be OK for SEO; keywords are there.
    2. Change it where? You're not giving us any info what platform you used to build your site.

      Thanks shqipo,

I was just wanting to know if the url's were OK. So that is good to know. I wasn't sure if there was a way to rename a url from the first one to the second one in the post.
The url's are all pulled dynamically from a database.

Use 301 redirect for redirecting all the SEO benefits to the new webpages.Don't change the URL.
Its a nice URL but it should be short and simple.

I think first url structure is ok. If you need to change the url structure you need to make 301 redirects. There are plugins to automate the job.

Just changing from dynamic to static isn’t enough of a reason to change your URL structure,

Even a perfectly executed site-wide URL change – with pristine 301-redirects – is going to take time for Google to process.Make SEO Friendly urls you should change dynamic urls to static urls.
