RAP and wordpress?

Does rapid action profits work with wordpress? Is it a plugin or do you install it to your website?

Im just not sure how the whole process works, any help will be usefull.

Not sure I understand this question, as the two options given are not mutually exclusive (Both RAP and WP plugins are installed to your website). There is no "or".

Im just not sure how the whole process works, any help will be useful.

It totally depends on the level of integration you want, and how you intend to use Wordpress.

For instance, Wordpress was designed to be an easy way to create content, and to organize it for presentation on the web (posts vs pages, categories, etc.)

However, people have also created some pretty ingenious plugins to extend the functionality of Wordpress. It's really a matter of planning, up front, what it is you really want to do.

1) RAP (or just about any sales system) can run on the same web site with your blog, and you can use simple links from the blog content to your RAP sales pages,
2) Themes have been created for WP to allow creation of sales pages on your "blog", allowing you to actually place your order button on a post or page, rather than a simple link, or
3) plugins have been created to provide restricted access to the blog content (i.e. membership systems), based on a previous purchase.

RAP can be used with Wordpress, in any of the above scenarios.

quick question sid.. so if i am running a wp blog with for example optimize press for my sales pages.. i create a separate dir for rap and install rap into that dir and setup it then link via the buy it now links from the wp blog squeeze pages?

You couldn't possibly send me the guide for rap could you, to check this out before i purchase?

RAP requires a minimum of two directories. One for the Admin Panel (rap_admin) must be located directly under the root, and one for each product you want to sell via RAP.

Each product folder contains templates for the various pages (40+ templates provided, to be used as necessary) in your sales process, and to keep them organized, the files for each distinct product must be in a separate directory.

The sales page is the default page for each of those directories.

Because each product is in it's own directory, only ONE of those products can be in the root folder. More likely, you would be running your WP installation in your root folder, and ALL of the products would be in separate folders under the root folder.

You couldn't possibly send me the guide for rap could you, to check this out before i purchase?

Maybe I am wrong... but my interpretation of Steve's question was whether it was possible to link from a WP page - skipping the RAP sales page - directly to the payment page.

Or, to put it in other words: to use the RAP "order" link on a WP page that is NOT in the 'product' directory.

(I know how to set up product folders in RAP; I am using it... however, not with this WP combination.)

If my understanding of Steve's post was incorrect - just disregard it.

2) Affiliate cookies are NOT automatically stored by Wordpress, so if an affiliate sent a visitor to your WP sales page (even though on the same domain), he/she would not receive referral credit (there is an inexpensive WP plugin available to overcome this if you have the need).

First of all RAP is the best product I have ever purchased, really awesome. I am hoping you can Pm the instruction and the name of the plugin in point two about affiliate cookies.

I is the final piece of the puzzle, in having the perfect wordpress + RAP sales machine

Hi Karsten,

Because it's a WP plugin, and not (technically) a RAP add on, I hadn't listed it anywhere (pretty stupid, huh?).

Anyway, I've just added it to the right sidebar of your Rapid Action Profits Admin Dashboard - just under the list of RAP Certified Add Ons.
