My first website. What can i make better?

This is the first website i have ever made. It is very basic (that is how i want it to be), 1 page is all it has. I will be getting a better logo for sure, but is there any small changes i could do to make it better?

I also plan on getting a real domain name for it very soon.
Would you trust ordering off this site?

Thanks in advanced!

-James

Apparently your new website is already under investigation for "malicious content" ...

One thing is for sure is that if you really want to take it seriously Online you ought to buy a domain name of yours (+-10.00/y) and a put it on a web hosting (-+40.00-50.00/y) and start creating a good first impression.

You can easily install Wordpress in a few clicks and start building a pretty decent site even without much experience. Then you'd be taken seriously which is MORE than important on Internet.

    Regards,

You can register your site with google analytic s and google web master central. The malicious content text is available when we take your site in browser. seems like you used some flash stuff that is not licenced

Yup your site is def down...Look around the forums you can find people talking about good deals they found on domains and hosting, and most hosting companies will let you pay a small amount up front if your budget doesn't allow for 1-2 yr registration. good luck with it.

Nope. I don't know where my money is going. Your website doesn't provide any trust or care in its design. I understand that you're a beginner but I figure being brutal might help

        example:
        http://www.bulkfoods.com/

I nearly had the opportunity to work with the above domain. The owner was a walk-in at a company I worked for. When we talked about re-designing it he said he wanted "SEO help and that's it." I told him his site instills no trust, poor branding, and terrible navigation. He didn't like that. Funny how a simple case of being controlling can stop your business from succeeding. He ranks for EVERY item on his site. It's a real shame. He's making 6 figures and could easily be doing 7.

The goal in selling online is to make it clean, understandable, and easy. The faster they can get to check out while trusting your site, the more money rolls in.

I hope you do well with your sites. Let me know if I can be of assistance. You can find my Skype link on the left. I build sites in Wordpress, love Social Media, and learning in general.

Either purchase your own domain and hosting if you don't want to pay for it. I will recommend Blogspot for a trusted site I know it has limited feature but mostly visitors prefer to browse Blogger than other free web space.

    Hey iwillwinthis,

Your sales pitch is fine but you should get a new domain, a better logo, and the moving hand thingy.

    Best of luck!

Yeah I agree - the moving hand thingy is brutal.

My thoughts - get your own domain for sure. use a lighter shade background. get rid of the logo and replace it with a big attention getting headline in red. then some sales copy about why this deal is a value. some bullets. then the price/*guarantee* - don't forget to mention the guarantee

also the text in the footer about having it shipped from warehouses in China seems kind of bizarre to me

at some point you could also add an aweber lightbox opt-in form pop-over thingy and give out a free report about "earbud headphone technology" or whatever. then start emailing them

      those are my thoughts anyway

        Ok thanks again guys!!

And John, about the "shipped from warehouses in china", do you just think i should hide that? I dont want people to get a package from china and be pissed off.

        thanks again everyone

Try adding a product specification table too? And some (real) product reviews?
