I never tried XenForo, vbulletin is good forum cms/script but you have to paid for this $$$...

I agree about PHPbb I use it to manage a number of forums and its my favorite.

If your site has a blog use that for taking feed back / a forum is more discussion based not feed back based

Vbulletin is really powerfull i accept that it is bit costly but if u looks at the fucntionality of the software your price will be justified.

I personally am a fan of PHPbb for forum management.

Vbulletin is great. It also now has a CMS and blog module. I received an email today that the mobile mod is now free with a regular CMS/forum purchase.
