Meta page titles with Hostgator Plesk

Hi Guys,

I am using Hostgator Plesk Builder to build a website but I stuck on one thing.

I know the importance of Meta page titles but I can not understand how to get a decent length meta page title using Plesk Builder. It seems that the actual clickable "page title" needs to be the same as the "meta page title"?

So for example, I have pages which are:

Thailand hotels
Singapore Hotels
Malaysia Hotels
etc.

But I can not find out how to make the meta page title something like "Thailand Hotels, luxury hotels, boutique hotels". It will only allow me to have "websitename - Thailand Hotels"

Hope someone understands what I mean and knows how to change this? I have looked loads of forums including hostgator but can not find the answer.

Thanks in advance.

You need to mix these keywords in such away that word dont repeat in the title and it will save to characters so you can easily add some new word in the title. Like Thailand luxury hotels, boutique...

Mixup the terms and get some new ideas and put it in title tag to get good ranking....

Jerrydu, I know but that is not what I am asking.

SEOPunk, are you saying that there is no way that you can have a different page title to the meta page title using Hostgator Plesk builder? It seems very strange that you have them the same.

I know this is a bit over a week old, but I hate seeing people with unanswered questions.

I don't know the answer myself, but have you tried asking hostgator support? I imagine they should know.

It is how you title your website.

      Code:
      <title>Title Goes Here</title>

That's a page title. It has nothing to do with meta. Someone above said "Yes page title needs to be the same as the meta page title." and I think they're referring to this <META NAME="Title" CONTENT="Page Title Here">

Hmm.. misread it a bit, but both do the same thing.

I have been doing seo for a lot of years, and I have never heard or seen a reason to make a page title like that.
