Email software

I am looking for email software for a social site that will capture emails on signup so I send welcome emails, update reminders, site navigation instruction, and news letters. I would like this to be as automated as possible.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Site is PHP and HTML.

You have to use autoresponder to get email,
and you can set your follow u p emails on it
