adsense appearing on blog page..how to move it to home page

Hi...
for my worpress site i needed a static home page so removed the default home page and created a new home page.
I created a page called blog and set this for my posts to keep my site updated.

did relevant settings in the reading section to make the blog page as my post page and my custom home page as my static page.

added google adsense but the ads are being displayed on post page that is my blog page and not on my home page. how to get it displayed on my home page.

  How do you know he doesn't? Maybe that's exactly his issue... you don't know.
  
  Which means, if you really want to be helpful, first you should ask the OP to post a meaningful and detailed answer about HOW did he "add adsense" to the site?

  You are still not giving enough info to be able to help.
  
  Maybe your theme has a Page template without sidebar... and that template is used to display your "static" homepage. In that case the sidebar widgets will not show up on the page, of course.

  i am using default twenty eleven 1.2 theme..
  
  i have got adsense code...
  i have made a static home page
  i have another page called blog for recent posts..
  what shud i do to to make the adsense code appear in the sidebar of my static homepage..
  
  what other details are needed ..tell me and i ll provide...
  
  as u mentioned how to check that my theme has a Page template without sidebar... and that template is used to display your "static" homepage. In that case the sidebar widgets will not show up on the page

The answer is there in your wp-admin... learn how to look for it:

the default Page Template doesn't have sidebar. However, there is a Page template with sidebar > select THAT to display your homepage! On the right side you have the option to select which Page template to be used. Why don't you experiment with it?
