I have what I think is a simple question if one of the members could answer for me. How do I embed the link in a web page I created using Microsoft Word? I uploaded the page to my hostgator server but the page would not open. Thats when I found out you need the link embedded in the page. Can somebody help me with this so I understand? Other wise I will be here another 2 hours trying to figure it out. Thanks

I believe that you must upload the document to your website in order to link it. I don't think you can link to a page located on your personal computer.

You shouldn't create web pages in M$ Word... that's not the right tool for that. Even the notoriously crappy Frontpage was a better tool

Close your Word and never open it when creating web pages, unless you want to be all the time frustrated as you are now :p

KompoZer - Easy web authoring <-- I've never used it but everybody is praising this free tool for HTML editing. Try it.

      Horvath is right,

Word is absolutely horrible for that, and on top of that, from my experience
throws in what I would call "errant code"

It is in a word - Horrible !!!
