I really like the style of the fortlauderdalehomebuilders.org website. Easier on the eyes and flows a lot better. You can also get to the contact form a lot quicker.

I really like the user interaction/activity on masterbuildersgroup.com, but it has a much poorer design than fortlauderdalehomebuilders.org/services.html. If you could include the photo slide show on the better designed site, it might add to it. Good luck though!

  Definitely fortlauderdalehomebuilders.org. It's less cluttered, cleaner and looks more professional, the only thing the other website's got going for it is the fancy image gallery.
  
  The masterbuildersgroup.com website is also built with Flash which is a big no no for SEO.

fortlauderdalehomebuilders.org is looking better, but i would suggest some points.

1) Home Builders, as the name suggest, should be emphasizing on IMAGE GALLERY and display of images of previous works of conceptual design of DREAM HOMES. this will instill positive effect in the mind of visitor.

2) Size of the photos in the middle body area is small.. and lot of empty space is present on both side of the images, you can increase the size to fit snugly into the provided space and can utilize the space as well as can give more exposure to design of the home.

3) Using the slide show from second website model in fortlauderdalehomebuilders.org ... can be a good idea..

Second website design is not giving pleasant look, color combination is not striking, while first design is pleasant to eyes as well as providing more professional effect due to the contact form and working hours in sidebars as well as proper design.

For fortlauderdalehomebuilders.org, to be fair, the design is good as it really looks professional. It also looks good in the eyes. For my suggestion, I think it is nice if you will create a page where you can put all your works so visitors of your website can view your portfolio in a much better way.

For masterbuildersgroup.com, what I like about it the most is the fact that it is simple and user-friendly. I think it would be such a good idea if you will include some written or video testimonials of your past customers to show how satisfied they are with your work.

This would be my suggestion too, its a visual company so you want to represent it in a nice visual way.. use this design and create a separate page to view your clients images/works,
Id also remove the 5 vertical images at the bottom and just use a larger single image to end that section.
Additionally if you wanted to take it a step further, code the images on the home page to change per visit, it'll attract more repeat visits if the landing page is fresh each time.

otherwise, nice work, job well done

(oops just noticed this as well, not really liking the underscore on selected page, the color change to me is enough)

I like masterbuildersgroup.com because it's user friendly though the appearance (maybe the color combination?) is not so good compare to fortlauderdalehomebuilders.org

and also for fortlauderdalehomebuilders.org instead or aligning images under the post/content you could make use of a slideshow so that the images would not occupy too much space making the other columns (left and right columns) look so barren
