Make your web site or landing page and sell HTML template on the web site .Do seo of the making site this is very good things for selling your Html template.

Themeforst is the way to go, maybe you will need to do some changes to your site, Themeforest demand high quality content and the files should be as they want before uploading or it will be rejected.

You can also check the sites from other people so you can have a better idea what's selling better, maybe the niches, make some networking inside too.

Once you get used to they policy you can make a lot of templates and you will be not rejected anymore.
