Fetch as googlebot fails

Hello warriors, First post here but I have been frequenting the forums for a few weeks now.

Recently I set up a website but am having trouble getting it indexed by google. So I went over to the google web master tools, more specifically the "fetch as googlebot" tool, and also tried adding a sitemap.

Here are my problems
the "fetch as googlebot" always returns Failed, with no information pertaining to why..
the sitemap has yet to download, it's been almost 3 days and it's still pending.

Could anyone shed some light please? I feel like I'm getting nowhere, I'm not new to computers. Just never had my own site before.

I ran some dns tests and they show some warnings but I do not know if that is why I am having this problem.

apparently I cannot post any links so... maybe we can brainstorm till I reach 15 posts? lol

  • You better increase your post count. Try adding link in the signature.
  • Yes, I'm thinking that would be a good idea...so I went ahead and switched hosts now. The same problem still exists, I'm pulling my hair out over here
