Hi Everyone,
I was just wondering if there is anyone who could answer my rather head aching issue im having.

Im trying to add /%postname%/ in the custom structure
however every time i go to save it it doesnt save and activates the sample post selection above. I have 15 other wordpress sites ad it isnt doing this with any of them apart from my new sites and i dont think im doing anything different?

Please any help with this

Also jointly with the same sites im getting
<<em>strong>
displaying at the start of some of my pages and when i delete them from the page and press update they appear again?

Please any expert help here, ive been having this for 2 weeks now and i cant seem to fix it?

Many Thanks
Tom

Your .htaccess file might not be writable (usually, CHMOD 0644 or 0666), so changes are not saved.

As for the "code" being displayed, it may be that some HTML was changed incorrectly in the theme, resulting in the display. If you post your site URL someone can take a look.

The second error is due to your theme. The first error seems to be due to some wrong setting during installation. Try to change the WordPress' folder permission to 755 recursively.
