Hello everyone,
I am looking for ways to make the website I am starting more attractive to visitors. I wanted to get your thoughts on whether video would be a good way to go about this. I have seen a lot of different video hosing programs, but someone recently sent me a link to a company that allows you to make interactive videos. (clickberry.com). I am curious to see what you think about making a video like this for a site, or what other suggestions you have.

Thanks in advance.

Using video is a good option but the video that you gonna use should of very good quality or otherwise it will harm on your website's reputation.

So you would just use a youtube video? not any of the 3rd party software to try to improve the ascetics? It seems a bit ordinary don't you think?

If you're really trying to be super eye pleasing, I wouldnt recommend embedded youtube videos. Of course its way easier to go that route.

Make sure the video is professional done and not of cheap quality, if so it will have a bad effect on the quality of your website!

It's good, but make sure that any info you provide in the video is also in text form on your website for usability and SEO reasons.

Agreed. Most folks (or, at least I do) like to scan the content of a site while they listen to the talking head. Plus, having text related to your subject will greatly help your search engine relevancy (along with a bzillion other factors.)

    Hi poloplayer,

Yes, implementing flash video is a good way to get impression from your visitors. It will help to avoid website bouncing rate also. Otherwise embed virtual spokesmodel. That is also a good way to impress your visitors.

Adding video to your website will definitely help.
If you want your videos to be public them youtube is
the easiest if you have videos you have made
and don't want them to be viewed by everyone like in a membership site
then i would recommend easy video player for that.
