Transfer unique indexed content from expiring domain

I have a site which has a product name in the url and the product owner will be trade marking the product soon. I wrote the owner and was told the site will need to be taken down after the trademark is in place. Here is my question. I have a bunch of unique content that has been indexed and want to remove it and upload it to an existing site. How will google view the uploaded content that has already been indexed on another url? Is there a way I can de-index the content and get it re-indexed on new site?

Other recommendations on this process that I need to take into consideration?
