Email In Cpanel? How Do You Do It?

Thanks to big Willie C the motivation has spread to start doing stuff and not just going from project to project with no end goal.

So, on that note, setting up email in Cpanel.

Setting it up was easy however which is the best email product to use, Horde Roundcube or Squirrelmail?

Also, is it better to forward to a hotmail/gmail etc and reply from there and will it still show up as being from my main domain?

    Hi Icon,

    I use Horde for some of my sites and in answer to your second question. No, it will not show as being from your main domain. You will have to reply from within your web based mail program like Horde.

    i use this.
    free email if you need online tools then there is paid option too.
    using cpanel is kindda painful so try this you won't regret.

    Thanks for the replies, actually started with Horde so will stay on it. Trying to get away from generic addresses and look a bit more pro.

      Horde is basic, but does the job.

      Sometimes there are issues with the email filters, but overall, decent enough.

    If you are absolutely tied to a web app to access it, squirrelmail is nice. However, it is very easy to link your accounts through Outlook, Thunderbird or most any other software mail client as well. I find it much easier to manage all of my accounts from a single interface.

    I just have everything go to Gmail, so I can have many emails in one place and access it from anywhere. And yes you can set it up so it looks like it's coming from your domain.
