Looking for review plus frontpage help/idea
I'm super new in IM, and just recently got my website up with a decent theme.
Since it's a split between a blog/article site with advertisements for the programs I use, it can't be a splash/squeeze page. One thing I need for this to really keep people interest, is a decent homepage. At the time being, I made a "welcome" page, to get back at the front. Needless to say, it looks like crap.
I'm not gonna touch/change the theme, since I had to pay up 40$ for it, and intend to keep it - no refund.
What I'm looking for, is a quick review, what to change/improve to keep peoples interest. The vast majority here are IMs, so somehow I believe someone knows what to use to keep people.
And a question semi off-topic. My articles page show 3 "latest posts", is there a way I can get it to show a bit more? 3 just looks so empty.
