Wordpress/Hosting Noob Question

I've got an experimental wordpress site. Now I've got a theme installed for it. You can easily customize the theme by a little panel custom built by publishers of the theme. Now when I go to upload an image from my computer or web address, the preview bit under it shows a broken image and "alt="

I realized then that this was because I hadn't uploaded the images to my host. Now the problem lies here. Which directory do I upload the images into?

Thanks.

  • Ewan,
You should upload your image to the Media Library in your wordpress back office. From there you can install it into your blog when ever you need it. I always do it this way.
    Hope this helps.
Let me know if you need any more help.
    Regards
    Giuseppe

  • If Image Upload Creates problem then its bettre to upload the image in wp-content/uploads and directly use the image link to the post or places where you want.

    Thanks
