nice site, it does seem that the image positioning could do with a tweak, atm it seems like theyve just been dropped in the general area they should be and dont follow a flow of sorts

oops sorry for the delay in replying, i dont often check back in on alot of threads ive posted in...

i was referring to images on most of the pages, however ive just read your comment that you are looking to upgrade alot of the images however my 5cents regardless...

alot of your images have square white backgrounds, i'd personally opt for transparent png or gif formats so that the image compliments the background better, my other suggestion is along the same lines, at the moment the text/image flow leaves alot of in-efficent 'whitespace' unused, try different combinations to get it to fit well, text above image, text to left of image, text to right of image, no real set in stone way to do this its trial and error mostly.

love the clean look of the site, the images are the only let down imo, good luck

I like what you did with the shading (3D effects).

I don't like the small logo called Socal, maybe too small.

To one white or black image that would be easier to read. Other than that it's pretty clean design.

Karma is a great theme. You need to disable the nav descriptions as you're not using them - that will connect the nav dropdowns and nav menu. Also, the teal green on dark grey/purple color is not ideal. There are better options built into the theme. Finally if you're not going to use the cell-phone sidebar on the contact page, I'd disable it. Other than that looks good!

I agree, looks great. Only thing I was wondering, if the "Featured Content" area (if it's the same on your site), would scroll on it's own? Doesn't scroll for me. Thinking there would be people who don't know they can make it scroll by clicking the round buttons. Some people could be missing your content there. Just a thought.

Wow thanks for all the feedback, it's very helpful and I will make the necessary changes right away!

primehost- The logo will be in one solid color those were just the revisions until the logo is finalized but I understand what you were saying.

Richkent- I will disable the nav descriptions and remove the contact iphone pic to either a customized banner or Logo (Great Idea!). As far as the black on teal goes I get what you're suggesting because it isn't to aesthetically appealing but it is the theme of my logo/business colors. I will have to think about that one.

Ron- Are you referring to the featured content area as the Homepage window slider? If so, the pages stop sliding if your mouse is covering the pictures (might be something I should disable).

The logo is hardly readable.
The only concern I always have is when a web development company uses well known wordpress themes for their own website. Doesn't that hurt the integrity of your business when you don't create your own theme but rather buy one on themeforest? Karma is pretty well known.

I like the layout and style. I think it could use some fresh vector graphics. I feel haven g interesting and unique graphics and photoshop composition.

K meier- I could have a custom designed website but that would cost thousands when I really liked the layout and look of Karma, also web development is very different than web design.
Jesse- I agree, I'm looking for more ways to create my own pictures and graphics so that it's totally customized. I just pulled some random ones to get it up and running.
Cheapweb- Agreed, more banners/graphics will be on the way!

Curious as to why a company offering Web Development chose to use a Themeforest theme. I'm not knocking it, I like the theme, but if you do web dev, why not build the site yourself? Also, some of the images are distorted/poorly edited.

The nice guy in me wants to say "the site looks great".

My thought provoking evil twin wants to say "Your site looks ok. sorta like the other oh I dunno, 10,000 other SEO companies offering the same services".

I challenge you to think outside the box. Make your site stand out a little more somehow? Don't follow the norm.

Oh and I do think you need logo upgrade.

Otherwise, yous site looks fine.

Hey guys sorry for the long delay in my response,

I appreciate all the feedback and most of you are agreeing that the logo is to small which I definitely will fix, (only reason it was small in the first place is because it knocks the main nav bar off so I need to fix the padding).

I will also order some more transparent vector images to flow with the background thanks for the tip web peon!
