Membership Woes...

Howdy,

I'll jump right into it...

I have a membership site that I've been working on for the past while and so far everything is going well... however...

My members would like to receive automated updates when a new lesson becomes available. The catch is that my content is dip-fed so different users are on different stages of the course, meaning that I can't simply blast out an e-mail each time I add more material.

My guess is that I'm not the first to encounter this situation.

How have you solved the problem in the past and how labour/time intensive was it using your strategy?

    Try setting it up with an autoresponder. Set the schedule of the AR updates to match the content posting. When people join the membership and sign up to the list, the emails will be on the same schedule.

    I may be a little dusty on this, but doesn't aMember do this?

    If you haven't checked this plugin out, i would dive in deep....i'm sure it does just what you need.

    Thanks for the replies everyone. My apologies for the late thanks.

    I had the autoresponder idea already cross my mind, but the trouble is that it'll only be helpful for future members.. Present members will need to be manually updated when entered into the A.R. series.

    Oh well - if that's all I've got to work with then I guess that's what I'll have to do.. haha

    The customer always comes first... even when it's a pain in the arse.. lol
