Hi,

There's probably a really easy solution to this but I just can't figure it out lol.

I have my blog at Blog | The Lunch Box Diet - Best Weight Loss Dieting Plan - How To Lose Belly Fat and I have my opt in, facebook etc, but I just want to put a image in there with a link to my product.

I guess it's effetively an avert. It would be great to track the clicks etc, but i could do this using pretty link which i already have installed. Any idea how i would get an image in the side and just add a link to it?

Thanks

Simon

You need to add a text widget to your side bar and use this code

    <a href="http://www.yoururl.com" target="_blank"> <img src="yourimage.gif"> </a>
fill the url and image section with your links

No reason to overcomplicate this with ad serving plugin if it's just a single sidebar item. @Ken above has it right - just drop an image link in a text widget....done.

You can't track clicks with a text widget. That is why I responded with what I posted. It's not "overly" complicated. Install the plugin, create your ad and drag the widget in place.

OP said they had installed pretty links and could track with that. A text box is really all they need then.

And there are lots of ways to track links without using an ad tracking or serving plugin. Starting with a simple link ID appended to the url, google analytics conversion tracking, etc.

Geez, I was giving the OP a simple solution that had everything built in and worked out of the box.
