Wordpress Experts: Need Wordpress Help!

Hi Warriors!

I REALLY need to change the color of my nav bar and nav links/words in my Wordpress site. Trouble is, I'm not sure how to do that.

I've already attempted to do it in the CSS file, but when I change the color code in the appropriate area of the CSS file (.nav), nothing changes on my site. I also checked the page templates my designer created for me and I don't see a place to change it there.

(If you're wondering, my designer and I parted ways about a year and a half ago -- on bad terms. So I can't go to her to change it.)

I've successfully changed the background color of my site myself. It seems ridiculous to go through the hassle of hiring a web designer for such a small thing.

Can anyone tell me how to change the color of the nav bar and the links? I'm using a Woo theme. I also remember my designer mentioning something about creating a transparent overlay for the nav bar, so maybe that's the issue with it not changing color? So, any idea how I can change it???

I'd really appreciate your help!

Michelle

It seems that your theme uses background image for adding color/texture. You will have to change the background image or delete it. All the best.

    Hi Nightengale.

If you want I can have my designer take a quick look at it. Sounds a bit technical for me but I can have him see if there's a way around your problem.
