I need help for a simple and easy design

Hi,

I tried to make a very simple and easy design for my friends website.
It's very hard to please everybody.

What would you do better?

  • The site is pretty simple already. I think the one thing that caught my eye was the logo; it just doesn't go with the theme of the site. It's a globe and all black text; a bit to professional for a site that sells design. I would go for a more trendy logo.

    Also, try to make it more clear what the site is about once a viewer is directed to the homepage. Have a nice and simple photoshopped image with simple and brief text that explains the site.

  • Do a layout first in Photoshop then sliced it and then export the html/css codes or use a CMS like Wordpress or Drupal
  • It looks great. Nice, clean design. I agree about the logo, it doesn't seem to fit.

    • It's interesting a lot of the designs are a lot better than your start page. I was looking through several of the categories several of them use a slideshow type of presentation which I think you could use to good effect on your start page. Yeah frankly I think there several samples on your site that would work better for your start page than what you currently have.

  • The design is simple and clean, but it may looks more appealing if you can change your fonts and do some color combination . But overall great job.
  • I simply prefer to header menu than the footer as Google prefers it and more than 70% users leave the website by just visiting the upper area of the website.

  • Its clean, but personally I think there is way too much white. I feel as if it needs boarders around the main container. Also, I love the way you developed the UI for your Flash sites. My only problem.... it is Flash. Don't expect for users with Ipads, Ipod Touch, and I Pads, to ever view your Flash sites.

      The design is good and easy on the eyes. But it may need more white spacing between text in each of the boxes.

  • Looks very clean. Personally I don't care for the light greenish color throughout but its probably just me. I would have gone with something a little darker.
