Hi warriors.

Can anyone suggest anywhere I can get images to edit within photoshop for my website banner?

I'm looking for professional images, maybe images of business people ect.

Thanks

  • Hi Laurian,

I've got a few hundred I can sell to you - don't worry, only a few bucks. They're fully editable within Photoshop, too.

If you would like to see a few samples, pm me.

    Good luck!

  • I use google images and other image search engines and then
Find Vertis Fluid Mask3 and you will be able to cut a person out of any photo and send it right to photoshop and make nice looking graphics for your site
  • You really want to be careful just grabbing images from searches. They could have copyrights attached which could come back and bite you later on.

I tried to share some relevent links to free stock photo sites etc. but my post count isn't high enough yet. =( I will pm them to you. They are not my sites but they should help. Okay I can't pm or anything yet. I guess I will have to up my post count and then I can share the links to the stock photo sites. *blush*

I also purchased Hemera's Photo Clip Art collections on the cheap through ebay. They are nice quality images and many of them have the backgrounds removed so you can just drop them into your design.

I hope this post helps. =)

  • I agree with Heidi on this one. Consider for a moment the case of an actor who was properly paid for their photograph, then years later that photo was used for another purpose without their consent.

And there have been other examples. But you have to have permission, or use only images with the correct attribution and license. Instead of just grabbing what you want from the Internet, do a search for GPL and creative commons.
  • Sxc.hu offers thousands of stock images to choose from and best of all, they are free.
